Beyond the Dunes

Along the Atlantic coast of France, the last light of day lingers above the dunes.

A woman makes her way towards the ridge, leaving the shadows behind her. Beyond it lies the ocean, hidden from sight, yet unmistakably present.

There is something timeless in walking towards a place you cannot yet see. As if the path itself is asking you to trust what lies beyond.

Perhaps some journeys are like that. We follow a feeling rather than a destination, drawn towards something we cannot name. A distant light. A memory. A longing. A place where, somehow, we feel we belong.

For a brief moment, between earth and sky, she seems suspended between two worlds.

Beyond the Dunes is about that quiet pull towards the unknown and the feeling that somewhere beyond the horizon, something is waiting for us.

From an empty wall to a meaningful space

An empty wall doesn’t have to remain empty. It can become a place of calm, reflection, and presence. With artistic nature photography, we bring quiet depth into a space. Sometimes this begins with an existing work from the Lemuria collection, sometimes with a new image that grows from a specific place or intention. Always shaped by light, scale, and atmosphere.

For this particular work, the atmosphere is defined by the last light of the day. Warm tones settle over the landscape, while a subtle human presence adds a sense of movement and quiet freedom. Not as a subject, but as a fleeting moment within the scene.

While most works are offered as a 90 x 60 cm print, larger formats are always possible when a space asks for it. In pieces like this, scale becomes part of the experience. It doesn’t just hang on a wall, it softly transforms the room.

Each print is produced on museum-quality fine art paper, carefully finished to preserve tone, detail, and longevity. Framing can be arranged or guided, always in harmony with the space it will live in. This work is released as a limited edition of 10.

For homes, offices, and spaces where silence is valued. Where nature is not decoration, but a calm counterbalance to everyday life.
