In the last light
It was the end of the day, when the light begins to lose its strength.
Not suddenly, but slowly.
Fading into something softer, more quiet.
I had been there for some time, watching how the landscape changed as the evening moved in. The colours became warmer, but never loud. Everything seemed to settle.
There is a moment, just before the light disappears, where everything feels more present. Not clearer, but calmer. That was the moment I was waiting for. In the distance, a figure moved through the scene.
A woman in white, quietly passing through the last light. She didn’t interrupt the stillness. She became part of it.
Nothing needed to happen. No direction, no instruction. Just the last light, resting on the landscape. Soft, and already on its way out. I didn’t try to extend it. Didn’t look for more. Some moments are complete as they are. And this was one of them.
From an empty wall to a meaningful space
An empty wall doesn’t have to remain empty. It can become a place of calm, reflection, and presence. With artistic nature photography, we bring quiet depth into a space. Sometimes this begins with an existing work from the Lemuria collection, sometimes with a new image that grows from a specific place or intention. Always shaped by light, scale, and atmosphere.
For this particular work, the atmosphere is defined by the last light of the day. Warm tones settle over the landscape, while a subtle human presence adds a sense of movement and quiet freedom. Not as a subject, but as a fleeting moment within the scene.
While most works are offered as a 90 x 60 cm print, larger formats are always possible when a space asks for it. In pieces like this, scale becomes part of the experience. It doesn’t just hang on a wall, it softly transforms the room.
Each print is produced on museum-quality fine art paper, carefully finished to preserve tone, detail, and longevity. Framing can be arranged or guided, always in harmony with the space it will live in. This work is released as a limited edition of 10.
For homes, offices, and spaces where silence is valued. Where nature is not decoration, but a calm counterbalance to everyday life.
